Sugar is the last to be added to taste. A bowl of sugar is necessary as it depends largely on size of cup of sugar in the amount you will have in your tea. The higher the glass or cup more sugar than you need. Of course, with only a small porcelain cup now needs less sugar.
When the tea has been poured, the teapot was refilled with boiling water in preparation for a second helping. Stir the tea and replace the lid and cover the teapot with a tea cozy to keep the tea warm. By the time they have drunk your first cup of tea, the second batch of tea ready to pour.
